Are you a parent interested in helping fund-raise for your child’s school programs, or extra-curricular activities?

Whatever your fund-raising need, we are here to help you promote and educate about fair trade while you raise money for your organization. We’ll provide you with everything you’ll need to host a successful fund-raising event. It’s easy – you can sell our stylish fair trade products and we’ll donate a good percentage of sales to your organization. Terms and Conditions:

Select your Products
Choose your own combination from the merchandise featured in our website. Your order should be based on the number of people you expect to attend your sale and an estimate of how many will make a purchase.
o A customer service representative will be available via phone:  773.944.5418 or email taylor@matatraders.com to discuss your merchandise mix if needed, Mondays – Fridays 10AM-5PM.

Submit your Order
o To get started, please submit your order request with contact information and target show date, along with a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions 1 week prior to your sale date. Individuals will be notified of order approvals upon receipt of this documentation.
o Orders must meet a minimum of $250.00 wholesale value plus shipping/handling to qualify.
o Your credit card will be billed in full, and a refund will be issued for any merchandise you do not sell at the end of the show.
o The order will be shipped from our warehouse in Chicago approximately 1 week before your sale date. If we are experiencing heavy volumes, we many need to refuse your order if it is not placed at least 1 week before your sale date.

• Receiving your Order
o An invoice will be enclosed in your shipment, including standard FedEx Ground shipping costs.  Unpack the boxes and check off the items on the invoice to ensure your order was accurate. Keep the invoice on hand for use when returning any unsold products. Please let us know immediately if any items are missing, damaged or incorrect via phone or email before your sale.
o Your shipment will include promotional materials and a suggested retail price list, though you are free to determine your own pricing.
o Keep the boxes and any bags/packing materials for re-packing purposes to safely pack any unsold items that you will be returning after your sale. Please do not remove Mata price tags/labels from merchandise. Items are encouraged to be unpacked for the show, and tried on by your customers, but please fold all clothing pieces neatly and individually, and re-package jewelry, to return.

• After your Event
o Return any unsold items within 2 weeks following the end date of your sale.
o You are responsible for paying return shipping costs via a traceable method (i.e. FedEx Ground or UPS).
o Merchandise you return will be inspected and then credited to your account within 1 week of return to Mata. You are responsible to return all merchandise in the original condition it was received.

o
A refund will be issued for all unsold merchandise that you return.
o Any profit earned above the wholesale amount paid to Mata for product is yours to keep – congratulations!
