We’ll provide you with everything you’ll need to host a successful fund-raising event. It’s easy – you can sell our stylish fair trade products and we’ll donate a good percentage of sales to your organization. Home Show Terms and Conditions:

Select your Products
o Option 1:  Pre-selected Packages - quick and simple! A pre-selected package is a collection of new and popular clothing and accessories that we select for you based on current trends and historic bestsellers.  Based on your needs, you can select from a $400 or $600 or $800 wholesale value package.
OR
o Option 2:  Choose-your-own Package. Choose your own combination from the merchandise featured in our wholesale catalogue. Your order should be based on the number of people you expect to attend your sale and an estimate of how many will make a purchase.

Submit your Order
o To get started, please submit your order request with contact information and target show date, along with a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions 2 weeks prior to your sale date. Individuals will be notified of wholesale status and order approvals for home shows upon receipt of this documentation.
o Orders must meet a minimum of $400.00 wholesale value plus shipping/handling to qualify. A 50% deposit for merchandise is needed before shipping. Prepaid checks or Visa/ MasterCard credit cards are accepted.
o You will not be charged for any merchandise you return at the end of the show and a refund will be issued if you sell less merchandise than the 50% you prepaid for.
o The order will be shipped from our warehouse in Chicago approximately 2 weeks before your sale date. If we are experiencing heavy volumes, we many need to refuse your order if it is not placed at least 2 weeks before your sale date.

• Receiving your Order
o An invoice will be enclosed in your shipment, including standard FedEx Ground shipping costs.  Unpack the boxes and check off the items on the invoice to ensure your order was accurate. Keep the invoice on hand for use when returning any unsold products. Please let us know immediately if any items are missing, damaged or incorrect via phone or email before your sale.
o Your shipment will include a Home Show How-to Guide, promotional materials and a suggested retail price list, though you are free to determine your own pricing.
o Keep the boxes and any bags/packing materials for re-packing purposes to safely pack any unsold items that you will be returning after your sale. Please do not remove Mata price tags/labels from merchandise. Items are encouraged to be unpacked for the show, and tried on by your customers, but please fold all clothing pieces neatly and individually, and re-package jewelry, to return.

• After your Home Show
o Return any unsold items within 2 weeks following the end date of your sale.
o Your payment for products sold over the 50% prepaid deposit amount is due within 1 week of the end of your sale. Please do not wait for your returns to be credited to send in your payment!
o You are responsible for paying return shipping costs via a traceable method (i.e. FedEx Ground or UPS).
o Merchandise you return will be inspected and then credited to your account within 1 week of return to Mata. You are responsible to return all merchandise in the original condition it was received.
o If you overpaid we will promptly issue a refund check as soon as we receive your products back at our warehouse.
o Any profit earned above the wholesale amount paid to Mata for product is yours to keep – congratulations!
