Here are 1, 2, 3, 4 Mata looks that we LOVE for Fall.

Fall is my FAVORITE season because it is the time of year you can get especially creative with your outfits. It’s the season of warm sweaters and lots of layering. Someone once told me that in order for an outfit to qualify as an outfit, you need to be wearing at least three pieces. Let this fall be the season of outfitting! Don’t be afraid to add layers of scarves, vests, blazers, leather bombers, necklaces, tights…you get the picture. I’ve created four looks to inspire you as you assemble your fall wardrobe, and with the help of my friend, Boyeon, I’m going to show you how to layer up and get out the door this season!

Look 1: Dear Lucy dress

Meet Lucy! The dress, that is. Lucy loves it when you layer. For this look I played around with texture by layering on a loosely-knitted sweater vest and a camel colored jacket. Of course, those layers aren’t just for fun and style; they’re great protection from the chilly fall weather. To polish off the look, I decorated the dress with our Skipping Stone necklace, adding an unexpected pop of mint. I don’t know about you but I sure do love Lucy!

Look 2: Pencil Me In skirt

Now here’s a skirt with some attitude! For this look, I paired the skirt with a sassy cropped navy jacket. The jacket hits right at the waist to showcase this fabulous skirt and those lovely legs wearing it. The soft blue bag and the scarf’s adventurous print pull together the outfit’s color palette, and the Global Echo necklace gives this look a sleek finish. Whether it’s work or play, the Pencil Me In skirt is perfect for all your day’s appointments.

Look 3: Oberlin dress

The Oberlin dress is one the most flattering dresses I have seen on. Inspired by Diane Von Furstenberg’s classic wrap dress, this Mata classic is the perfect fit and flare. For this look, I let the feminine colors of the floral print inspire the way I accessorized. I added a burgundy bag and blazer to anchor it, then layered not one but two Mata necklaces! Who says layering is just for clothes?

Look 4: Biltmore Blouse

My favorite part of this peplum top is the print! The teal and olive color combination will mix well with all your fashionable fall earth tones. In this look I wanted to play up those colors so I paired the blouse with a teal pant and our olive accented Macrame necklace. So whether you’re on the grounds of the famed Biltmore House or shopping for your favorite Mata dress here in Chicago, this peplum is a perfect fall friendly fashion statement.
