This is a very flattering piece and the fabric (I got the one with the poppies) looks great in person. Too long for every day but perfect for when you want to get dressed up but not *too* dressed up. A nice go-to for a cocktail party or dinner out with friends. I’ve only worn it once and already gotten complimented on it.
Great quality! The buttons are small and may cause issues down the road. Runs fairly large in my opinion.

Like all Mata Trader's dresses that I have, Jaya is truly beautiful, with delicate hand-embroidered details, fine workmanship all around, and a really beautiful hand block-printed fabric. The cut of this dress is flattering, more flattering than some Mata Trader's dresses, and I get compliments on it all the time. I bought two of this dress, it's so pretty. It's also quite comfortable. Thank you, Mata Trader's for creating such beautiful works of art for us to wear, and allowing us to support artist and artisans with fair trade!
Love this dress so far- really nice detail around the neck that I didn't notice when I bought it. And the armpits arent too tight. I am pregnant right now and can still fit into it, despite my overly heavy chest at the moment and belly. It's not stretchy, but falls just right. Looking forward to wearing it when not pregnant too so appreciate the versatility. Also like the unique print!
I am usually between a small and medium at Mata mainly because I'm a bit bustier. I'm about 5'6 and 150 lbs when not pregnant. I got this in medium and am very happy with the fit.
I already owned and loved an Asheville dress, and just could not pass up this delightful print! I feel like my best self in my Mata dresses!
Love love love this dress. Comfortable and true to size. My only comment is that I cut out to brand name tag because it kept popping out of the back.
I love the pattern and the cut of this topic, especially the curved hemline! It’s extremely flattering for my pear shape. Ideally it would be 100% organic cotton but for some reason all Mata’s organic cotton products have some spandex. Would love to see that change one day!
Perfect top for hot days. Easy to wash by hand or on delicate in washer. Dresses up any warm weather outfit.
I love how this shirt has a high neckline that covers bra straps, has slightly longer but not too long sleeves, comes in at the waist, and flows over the hips.
I bought this dress at a local boutique and have been obsessed ever since! It’s perfectly flowy for breezy for summer. The wide straps and functional buttons are my favorite as a nursing mother and I appreciate the modest cut. I did manage to get a faint stain (breast milk?) on the fabric that I’m having some trouble getting out, but otherwise I can see myself enjoying this dress in all seasons for years to come! Please make more dresses with functional buttons!

I absolutely love this comfortable summer dress!!! I have it in 3 colorways now. The other 2 are a size medium as the large in this one is a wee bit too big- but still 100% wearable!! I’m 5’4” and about 140 for scale.
